Ideas
Requests to try first, grouped by what they make.
Copy a request into the chat assistant or coding agent you connected. Change the details to fit what you want. What your agent makes starts private.
Pages and dashboards
A page is a Thing with its own address. Ask again later to change it.
On my EmptyOS computer, make a dashboard that shows me the key things I need to remember today, pulled from my email, calendar, Slack, or our chat. It should update daily; send me the link to the updated board every morning. On my EmptyOS computer, turn my resume into a one-page site. Keep it private until I say so.The dashboard needs an assistant that can read those accounts and run on a schedule.
Apps that keep data
An app is a Thing that runs a small service. It saves what you enter to a Database, so your data stays when you rebuild the app.
On my EmptyOS computer, make a meal logging app that tracks my macros. When I tell you what I ate, save it to a Database and show my week on a beautifully designed page that looks good on mobile too.On my EmptyOS computer, make a tracker for house projects, organized by room. Keep the projects in a Database. On my EmptyOS computer, pull any ratings I already have on Goodreads and make an app I can use to add more books later.Goodreads has no open API, so your agent may ask you for a library export from Goodreads first.
A Database on its own
A Database does not need an app. Agents you connect with Full access can add to it and query it.
On my EmptyOS computer, export all the financial data you have collected on me to a Database. This could include expense tracking, budget goals, investment details, etc. that I have provided or you have pulled from a 3rd party connector. Set up a daily sync to keep the financial data up to date.On my EmptyOS computer, create a Database of the people I talk to most, with how we met and when we last spoke. Ask me for a few to start. The financial export needs an assistant that already holds that data, or can read it through another connector, and can run on a schedule.
Something you already made
Put the page you made for me earlier in this chat up on my EmptyOS and share it with someone. Ask me for their email.Memory your agents share
Every agent you connect can write what it learns to your computer and read what the others wrote. Save this with your custom instructions too:
Use my EmptyOS computer to record memories that you think will be useful to future agents. Remember to read memories from EmptyOS periodically in case other agents have updated memories there too.An agent usually keeps memories in a Database. A Read-only connection cannot read a Database's contents, so give each agent Full access.
A rule for your agent
Save this in your assistant's custom instructions or memory, or in a coding agent's instructions file, so it applies to every chat:
Unless I ask otherwise, anytime you create a webpage, app, or file, put it up on my EmptyOS computer. If I ask for changes to an artifact I've created before, look in my EmptyOS to see if it's there and update it there.Change it later
Things are meant to change. Come back to the same Thing and ask again:
On my EmptyOS computer, change the dashboard to show my first meeting tomorrow at the top.On my EmptyOS computer, add a weekly calorie total to the meal log.
