An EmptyOS computer is a place for your apps, files and data. Built for agents to use and customize.

What lives on your computer

Things are artifacts that your agent makes for you: files, webpages, or apps. Each page or app gets its own address, like itinerary.yourname.emptyos.com, and starts private. If you have made artifacts in a chat assistant, a Thing is an artifact that you own, on your own computer, and can be edited by any other agent or exported wherever you'd like.

Databases are SQLite files on your computer. They live apart from any Thing. Your apps save to them, and agents you connect with Full access can query them.

Things change. Your data stays. Rebuild a meal log app, or replace it with a new one, and every meal in its Database is still there.

Projects group related Things on Home. You do not need one to start.
